This Refund Policy explains the rules for cancellations, refunds, replacements, and related claims for products purchased from StudBudPC. By placing an order on Our website, You agree to this Refund Policy along with Our Terms and Conditions, Pricing Policy, Privacy Policy, and Shipping Policy.

1. CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. In special cases, cancellation may be considered up to 48 hours, but this will be entirely at Our discretion and will depend on order status, product category, and processing stage.

If there is a delay in dispatch from Our end beyond 7 days for reasons attributable to Us, the customer may request cancellation of the order and may be eligible for a full refund. Once an order has been shipped, packed for dispatch, or processed substantially, cancellation may not be possible.

2. CUSTOMER-INITIATED CANCELLATIONS

If a prepaid order is cancelled at the customer’s request within the eligible cancellation window, payment gateway or transaction charges may be deducted from the refundable amount. StudBudPC states deductions of 2% for normal prepaid transactions and 5% for EMI transactions in customer-initiated cancellations, so if StudBudPC wants to follow the same structure, that rule should be stated clearly and applied consistently.

Orders placed during sale periods, promotional campaigns, limited stock drops, bundles, or special discounted events may not be eligible for cancellation, or may be eligible only at Our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to refuse cancellations in cases involving suspected misuse, repeated ordering and cancelling, or abuse of promotional benefits.

3. REPLACEMENT AND REFUND ELIGIBILITY

We generally offer replacement first and not an open no-questions-asked return policy for all products. A replacement or refund request may be considered only if the product delivered is damaged in transit, dead on arrival, defective upon arrival, or materially different from the item ordered.

Such issues must be reported to Our support team within 72 hours of delivery. Requests raised after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund, unless required by applicable law or specifically approved by Us after review.

4. UNBOXING PROOF REQUIREMENT

For damage, wrong-product, missing-item, or dead-on-arrival claims, an uncut unboxing video may be required for verification. StudBudPC specifically requires an uncut unboxing video for such claims, and using the same condition in your policy helps set clear evidence standards for dispute resolution.

The video should clearly show the sealed package, shipping label, product unboxing, and the issue being reported. If adequate proof is not provided, the request may be rejected after internal review.

5. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR WRONG PRODUCTS

If the delivered product is physically damaged, defective on arrival, dead on arrival, or different from the item ordered, the customer must contact Us within 72 hours of delivery with supporting evidence. After verification, We may offer a replacement, repair assistance, brand service-center guidance, or refund depending on stock availability, product condition, and the nature of the claim.

If a replacement product is unavailable, a full refund may be initiated instead. This replacement-first and refund-if-unavailable model closely follows the StudBudPC approach.

6. NON-RETURNABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE CASES

Refunds or returns may not be available in cases such as change of mind, no longer needed, incompatible purchase made by the customer without prior confirmation, minor box wear that does not affect the product, software issues not caused by hardware defect, or damage caused after delivery due to misuse, mishandling, improper installation, or external factors. Orders that have been specially arranged, custom sourced, or assembled as custom PC builds may also be subject to stricter cancellation and refund conditions.

Products that are covered directly by manufacturer warranty may need to be handled through the brand’s authorized service center where applicable. In such cases, We may assist with guidance, but the final resolution may depend on the manufacturer’s warranty process.

7. RETURN CONDITIONS

Where a return is approved, the product must be returned with all original accessories, manuals, tags, packaging materials, bundled items, and invoice, just as received. StudBudPC specifically states that all accessories delivered with the product should be returned along with the product and invoice, and this is a good standard to maintain for verification and resale control.

Returned items must not show signs of misuse, tampering, physical abuse, unauthorized repair attempts, or missing components. If the returned product fails verification, the refund or replacement may be refused, or the product may be shipped back to the customer.

8. REFUND PROCESS

In case of an approved refund, the refund will generally be processed after the product has been received back by Us and verified, where return of the item is required. If the matter concerns cancellation before dispatch, stock unavailability, or order rejection from Our side, the refund may be initiated without product return, as applicable.

Refunds are usually initiated within 24 to 48 hours after approval or cancellation processing in StudBudPC’ policy framework, while the actual credit time depends on banks and payment providers. Payment gateways and banking partners may take approximately 5 to 7 business days, and in some cases longer, to reflect the refunded amount in the customer’s account.

9. FAILED, CANCELLED, OR DUPLICATE PAYMENTS

If a transaction fails but the amount is debited from the customer’s account, such cases may be resolved through the payment gateway, banking network, or automatic reversal process depending on the nature of the payment failure. RBI-linked refund timelines for merchant payment failures are typically governed by strict processing windows, and banks/payment providers may auto-reverse such failed merchant payments within applicable timelines.
