The MSI MAG X870 TOMAHAWK WIFI brings the legendary Tomahawk formula to the AMD X870 (non-E) chipset — offering premium-tier connectivity at a more competitive price. With a 14+2+1 Duet Rail Power System, dual 8-pin CPU connectors on an 8-layer 2oz copper PCB, dual USB4 40Gbps Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 7 (Qualcomm), 5G LAN, and dual CPU-direct PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots, it punches well above its chipset tier. Note: USB4 40Gbps and M.2_2 (PCIe 5.0 x4) share bandwidth — both run at x2 when simultaneously active; M.2_3 and PCI_E3 also share bandwidth (x2 each by default; BIOS toggle to prioritize one at x4).
